Three of my fav mythical creatures: Mermaid, Fairy and Elf.
When I was looking at folklore I noticed that each creature had a specific place they belonged. Especially the mermaids, as presented in The Little Mermaid, it is impossible for them to refuse the call of the sea.
That's what I'm trying to depict in this design
